  • FACULTY OF MEDICINE



              The Faculty of Medicine – HMC was formed in 2006, including 08 departments: Internal Nursing;  Surgical Nursing; Pediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing; Traditional Medicine; Infectious Nursing; Medical Image; Specialty Diseases Nursing.
              The Faculty consists of 46 lecturers including two (2) Doctors; seventeen (17) Masters and twenty-seven (27) lecturers with College Degree in different subjects: Internal Medicine; Surgery; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; Public Health; Imaging; Biochemistry; Traditional Medicine; ENT; Odonto – Stomatology, etc...
              It is the responsibility of the Faculty to teach specialized subjects for students in the whole College; help them form, develop and improve knowledge, skills and professional attitude in order to become nurses and midwives majored in Medical Imaging, Medical Testing, etc..., meeting the needs of employers and growing country.




    Duties of the Faculty

              The Faculty is a professional management unit of the College, having the following tasks:
                   - Organize training courses, lesson plans and other educational activities based on the general curriculum;
                   - Organize science and technology activities; actively explore cooperative projects with science and technology organizations, connect training with science and social life research;
                   - Monitor lecturers, staff, employees, students of the Faculty under the Rector’s assignment;
                   - Develop training programs, prepare curriculum, textbooks delivered by the Rector. Study and improve teaching and learning methods; suggest making additional plans, maintain facilities and plans on practice, internship and scientific experiments;
                   - Plan and organize training courses to foster professional qualifications for lecturers and staff.

    Duties of Departments
               Departments directly under the Faculty of Medicine are units specialized at and responsible for training, science and technology activities.
               The Department generally has the following tasks:
                   - Be in charge of content, quality, teaching schedule of several subjects included in the general curriculum of the College and Faculty;
                   - Prepare and complete contents of the Program; prepare curriculum, textbooks concerning the medical field, training specialty as allocated by the Faculty and College;
                   - Implement teaching plans, science and technology activities, manage facilities and equipment as assigned by the Faculty and College;
                   - Improve teaching methods; implement science and technology activities in order to enhance the quality of training and scientific research.

    Achievements:
              - In 2013, the Faculty of Medicine was awarded the title of 2012- 2013 Outstanding Group by Hanoi People’s Committee.
              - In 2014, the Faculty of Medicine was awarded Certificate of Merit by Prime Minister for 2011-2013 achievements which have contributed to the cause of Socialism construction and national defense.


     
    FACULTY OF GENERAL MEDICINE




              The Faculty of General Medicine – HMC was found in 2006, including 07 departments: Department of Anatomy & Physiology, Department of Anapathology & Pathophysiology, Department of Microbiology & Parasitology, Department of Pharmacology; Department of Public Health; Department of Basic Nursing and Nursing Techniques; Department of Biochemistry.
              The Faculty is responsible for teaching specialized subjects for students.



     Duties of the faculty:

              The Faculty is a professional management unit of the College, having the following tasks:
                   - Organize training courses, lesson plans and other educational activities based on the general curriculum;
                   - Organize science and technology activities; actively explore cooperative projects with science and technology organizations, production and business facilities, connect training with science, production business and social life research;
                   - Monitor lecturers, staff, employees, students of the Faculty under the Rector’s assignment;
                   - Develop training programs, prepare curriculum, textbooks delivered by the Rector. Study and improve teaching and learning methods; suggest making additional plans, maintain facilities and plans on practice, internship and scientific experiments;
              Plan and organize training courses to foster professional qualifications for lecturers and staff.
                   + Based on the training scale and characteristics of training field, the Rector decides to establish faculties, sub-departments upon the organizational structure stipulated in HMC’s Regulations on organization and operation.

    FACULTY OF BASIC SCIENCE


          The Faculty of Basic Science – HMC was found in 2006, including four (4) departments that are in charge of teaching basic science for students at the full-time college, vocational college, inter-class and part-time courses.



    Duties of the Faculty:
              The Faculty is a professional management unit of the College, having the following tasks:
                   - Organize training courses, lesson plans and other educational activities based on the general curriculum;
                   - Organize science and technology activities; actively explore cooperative projects with science and technology organizations, production and business facilities, connect training with science, production business and social life research;
                   - Monitor lecturers, staff, employees, students of the Faculty under the Rector’s assignment;
